Travelling to Bulembu

Discover Swaziland and South Africa

While Bulembu has plenty to offer, we also suggest you take time to explore the many attractions of the South African Lowveld as well as Swaziland’s best kept secrets.

Rich in cultural tradition, Swaziland is home to some of Southern Africa’s most skilled artisans. Visit Ngwenya Glassblowing factory to witness the amazing glass blowing process or visit the Swazi Candle factory, world-renowned for its imaginative designs and colourful presentation.

Swaziland is packed full of natural wonders. From soaring mountains to deep river gorges in the North to grassland and forests in the South, the Swazi landscape is as diverse as it is beautiful. Go white water rafting down the great Usuthu River or rent a fishing rod and enjoy Swaziland’s best trout fishing along the rivers banks. Or hike the famed Sibebe Rock – the largest granite outcrop in the world and experience a guided safari to several of Swaziland’s Nature and Game Reserves. For adventure and thrill seekers, activities include adventure caving, rock climbing, horseback riding, mountain biking, paragliding, quad biking and much more.

Other major attractions of the South African Lowveld include Kruger National Park, the majestic Blyde River Canyon, the Three Rondavels and the spectacular Pilgrim’s Rest.

Bulembu Country Lodge is the ideal base to explore both South Africa and Swaziland.
