1,000 Students coming to Bulembu
"1000 students, one community, forever
transformed….. doing what everybody knows needs to be done."
In late November 2008, Bulembu will host over 1,000 South African university students
and professionals as they descend upon the community. In an inspiring event of
logistics, service and life transformation, this massive volunteer army will
descend upon Bulembu and leave behind a community transformed forever.
Canadian Tenors in Bulembu
The Canadian Tenors
performed with Bulembus very own talented singers and dancers for a packed
crowd in Bulembus Chinda Hall on August 28th. 2008. The four talented
singers, that of Remigio, Fraser, Jamie and Victor, were in Bulembu with
Teldon Media Group filming a campaign video for Bulembu.
Bulembu Country Lodge wins 1st place in competition
In March 2008 Vernon entered the Bulembu Country
Lodge into a competition sponsored by TechnoServe and USAID. The competition is
called Believe- Begin- Become which is a Business Plan Competition developed to
support and grow new businesses. It is an incentivized, practical training and
business development program to help entrepreneurs turn their business ideas
into fundable and implementable business plans. Read more....
