Bulembu Country Lodge lies at the foot of Mount Emlembe, the highest mountain in Swaziland. The town is surrounded by lush green hills and eucalyptus forests, perfectly complementing the natural beauty of this region.
Our comfortable guest rooms have double beds and en-suite bathrooms. Some rooms are family rooms and can sleep up to four people, while the self-catering houses can accommodate up to 10 guests in each house, having one or two bathrooms. The restaurant offers both a set daily menu of hot home cooked meals as well as tasty light meals like pizza, toasted sandwiches and salads to order. The Lodge is surrounded by many beautiful reserves including Songimvelo Nature Reserve, Barberton Nature Reserve and Makhonjwa Nature Reserve.
The world acclaimed Kruger National Park is also within driving distance. The Lodge provides a rich cultural experience by offering guests the chance to become involved in volunteering projects aimed at improving the town and welfare of its people (must be arranged in advance). It is also an ideal place to relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of this peaceful and tranquil area.
Activities include Emlembe mountain hike, Malanda village tour, Bulembu Museum, pool table, table tennis, mountain bike rentals, squash court and mini cinema. Please note that Bulembu Lodge is not licensed to serve alcohol.
Important note: The road from Bulembu to Piggs Peak is an 18km rough dirt road, that deteriorates substantially especially in and after rainfall. Please call the Bulembu Lodge Reception on +26876021593 for advice on road condition before you travel. The alternate tar road from South Africa via Barberton is in good condition and suitable for all vehicles, with beautiful views of the UNESCO World Heritage site route.

Bulembu Country Lodge provides different types of accommodations to suit the needs of you and your traveling companions:
Our Lodge rooms allow for two people (single or double beds) sharing a room with en-suite bathroom facilities. Family rooms are available to accommodate up to four people.
For groups traveling together, we have self-catering houses that can sleep up to 10 people per house comfortably. Each house has either three or four rooms with single or double beds. Most houses have one or two shared bathrooms to share in a house.
This is a perfect location for a small wedding with up to 80 guests. we have a conference hall big enough for the reception with a clubhouse nearby where you could have a separate area for the children.
We are situated on a very quiet private property in Swaziland, making it a very safe environment for your children to play outside, while you have a relaxing time at our restaurant, or under one of the many beautiful shade trees reading a book.
On cold nights it is perfect to cuddle up by the fire place in the lounge and because our rooms have no TV you are assured of your partner’s full attention.
