Bulembu Honey was established in 2007, making use of the surrounding eucalyptus forests to produce a quality honey renowned for its pure taste.
Our operation grew to 600 active beehives in three separate areas producing as much as 16 tons of honey per year. In 2021 the decision was made to outsource our honey production through an out grower system which encourages employment in rural areas and the setting up of local emaSwati cooperatives and businesses. We support beekeepers in the rural areas by purchasing their product (honey in the comb) at fair market value and collecting from their homesteads or production points, as well as offering training and technical support during these visits.
Bulembu’s honey is exclusively sold in Eswatini.
