Cover a Caregiver - Aunties

Our children are taken care of in their homes by a caregiver – more affectionately known in the local culture as an “Aunty”. The Aunties in Bulembu are protectors, carers and friends to our children. They encourage, uplift, and since the onset of the pandemic they have also had to become tutors. They are selfless, loving women who often sacrifice much in their own lives in order to live in Bulembu and care for the children in our care. And suffice to say that Bulembu wouldn’t have been able to care for any children if not for Aunties.

We invite you to join us by contributing toward our goal of having all 135 caregivers fully covered for 2022. You can either give a once off gift of any amount to this campaign or you can sign up to support monthly. At an average cost of US$200 or GBP130 or CA$230, it is a worthwhile investment that allows our children to have the gift of a mother.
